Two new compositions

Hello :)

I composed those songs for the sample challenge organized by Full Orchestra. Full Orchestra is a curated community of musicians and music lovers. We select a sample together every month to start from the same inspiration. And then, a few weeks later, we all meet for a listening session and to share our compositions with a welcoming crowd. The listeners share their feelings and thoughts about the songs.

Having a short time to compose a song helps us to reconsider the definition of beauty and perfection. We live in a society where people are afraid to show what they love to create because it's not "perfect". But we see more beauty in an imperfect creation where a musician produces a song with love and vulnerability.

Patagonian Dreaming

Patagonian Dreaming is a song I made for the first sample challenge organized by Full Orchestra. I tried to compose a dreamy feeling between my hunger for new adventures and my need to face my questions and doubts.

For this session, we selected a sample recorded by Felix Blum in Patagonia. The farmers of a cattle ranch go into the fields to collect the sheep. They whistle and shout to fear the sheep and put them in the corner of the field until they arrive at the ranch.

Grumpy Lemon Pie

Grumpy Lemon Pie is a song I made for the second sample challenge organized by Full Orchestra. For this session, we selected a sample of an oven door recorded by Tim Kahn.
